Control Options
DMX & Wireless DMX
The Mobi LED Washer speaks standard DMX512 via 3-pin XLR connectors and supports five channel configurations:
- 2 CH — Color + White Macro
- 3 CH — HSV (Hue / Saturation / Value)
- 5 CH — Dimmer, Dimmer Speed, R, G, B
- 8 CH — Adds Strobe and Auto programs
- 11 CH — Full control including individual ID addressing for per-fixture control in large rigs
Wireless DMX is built in, supporting both transmitter and receiver roles, with a working range of up to 160 m.
2.4G Remote Control
The included 2.4G wireless remote pairs easily with the fixture. It supports up to 50 metres of control range and can manage multiple groups of fixtures simultaneously — each group accommodating up to 50 units. Pairing is retained after power loss, so there’s no need to re-pair on site.
Master/Slave
Chain multiple units together via DMX cable. Set one fixture to Auto mode as the Master and all others in Slave mode will mirror it automatically — perfect for symmetrical looks without a console.
Auto & Custom Programming
Choose from 15 built-in auto programs with adjustable speed, or use the on-board EDIT menu to create up to 11 custom programs, each with 32 scenes. Parameters include Red, Green, Blue, White, Fade, Flash, Strobe, and Time per scene. Custom programs can be uploaded wirelessly from a Master unit to all Slave fixtures in the chain.
Battery & Charging
The built-in lithium-ion battery charges in 4–5 hours via the included DC 18V / 5A power adapter. Charging is recommended at temperatures between 15°C and 35°C, and the fixture should always be stored fully charged to preserve battery capacity.
The RUNTIME setting on the fixture lets you tailor maximum runtime to your production needs. For extended runtimes, consider programming the fixture with lower-power colours such as Red, Green, Blue, or White, or reduce overall dimmer output.
Build Quality & Installation
Housed in a die-cast aluminium alloy body with a silica gel lens and a fine sand black finish, the Mobi LED Washer is rated IP65 (dust-tight and water-jet resistant) and IK07 (impact resistant). It is suitable for hanging, floor-standing, and side-mounted positions.
The fixture can be rigged overhead using the supplied fast lock clamp. Always use an appropriate safety cable when flying the unit — the installation point must be rated to support at least 10 times the fixture’s weight. Overhead rigging should be checked annually by a qualified professional.
The exterior surface can reach up to 70°C during normal operation. Install only in ventilated locations and keep the unit at least 0.5 m from any flammable materials.
